Yes, WMR is proud to support the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and BackTrack Youth Works.

Yes.
You will need to purchase a Rally Pass or Day Pass.
With proof of this purchase, you will receive a wristband on arrival to the Showground.
Your wristband must be worn at all times.
No wristband = no entry.
Rally Passes & Day Passes are available from www.walchamotorcyclerally.com.au
If you have purchased a Rally Pass or Day Pass, you have access to the free continuous town loop shuttle bus. The bus will pick up and drop off at the showground, Walcha CBD, pubs, accommodation and other Walcha venues during the event. The shuttle bus will run Thursday (6:00pm - 10:00pm), Friday & Saturday (9am - 10:00pm).

No, The Walcha Motorcycle Rally is a licensed event, please don’t bring your own alcohol to the event. Alcohol at the event must be consumed within the bar area.

There is no ATM at the showground. ATM facilities are available in town at; Commonwealth Bank, Regional Australia Bank, Transwest Fuels & the Supermarkets in Walcha.
Tap & Go payment will be available at the showground main gate Registration and at the showground Bar.
A variety of food options will be on offer - these will be listed closer to the event.
A variety of exhibitors will be in attendance at the Showground on Friday & Saturday - A full list will be provided closer to the event.
Spring temperatures range from a minimum of 7°C (overnight) to a maximum of 22°C (daytime). However New England High Country weather can be unpredictable. Please come well prepared with plenty of warm clothing (jumper, wind jacket) for evenings.
750m - so walking distance to town from showground. Alternatively, jump on the FREE Loop shuttle bus (for ticketholders only).
Yes, the showground is wheelchair friendly.
Children aged 16 years and under are admitted free in the company of a supervising, paying adult.
These children will be issued with a wristband which must be worn at all times. The accompanying adult is responsible for the minor’s behaviour and safety, ensuring they are supervised at all times.
We would prefer pet's to be left at home. However, service dogs are an exception.
Organised Rides will be listed soon. These will include a number of options for you to choose from depending on your skills, bike and preference.

CAMPING
Yes, DIY camping is available at the showground for a flat rate of $30 per person (for up to 3 nights - check in Thursday, Check out Sunday). You will need to purchase the ADD ON - CAMPING at Showground when purchasing your Rally Pass or Day Pass ticket for the event. Please note: Camping will only be permitted for Rally Pass Holders and Exhibitors.
Toilets and hot showers are available for those people staying at the Showground.
There will also be a security presence.
Yes, campervans, caravans, tents are all welcomed at the Showground.
Yes, you may park alongside your tent. However, there are strictly no vehicle/bike movements allowed in the camping area between sunset and sunrise. If you are planning on using your vehicle/bike during the evening then you will need to park outside the showground.
If you want to camp with friends, please try and arrive together or as closely together as possible. We cannot reserve camping spaces for you.
Yes, campfires are permitted if conditions are favourable. Wood has been kindly supplied by Jim Gerke. Some firepits will be placed in locations in the camping ground for you to utilise. Please remember to be mindful and respectful of other campers. Remember: Fire embers and tents don't mix!
Yes, there are around 60 undercover individual horse stalls that can be accessed.
We do not have specific powered sites. However, there is power in the campgrounds on a first in, first served basis.
Camping is located in designated areas at Walcha showground – Derby Street, Walcha.
There are a few rules to ensure the safety for all at the Campground. These include:-
- No vehicle/bike movements are allowed in the camping area between sunset and sunrise.
- Only campers with Walcha Motorcycle Rally camping wristbands are allowed in the campground.
- Noise should be kept to a minimum after 10pm.
- No glass permitted in the showground or camping area.
Security guards will be on-site patrolling the area from Thursday 14 November to 6am Sunday 17 November. The showground gate will be manned for the rally.
Yes, you may bring alcohol to your campsite. Glass bottles are not permitted. There is a daily limit of 10 cans beer / lager / cider / pre-mixed drinks OR 1 cask of wine per person. You are not allowed to take alcohol from your campsite to the Rally event as this is a fully licensed event.
Small quiet generators are permitted but please be respectful of other campers with regards to noise. Generators must be turned off at night when people are sleeping.
EXHIBITORS / FOOD STALLS
Yes, we welcome exhibitors and food stalls to apply for a site at the showground.
The event program includes events and activities at the showground on both Friday and Saturday.
